The Northside 4th of July Parade, a cherished Cincinnati tradition since 1854, invites you to join us in declaring your Independence!

We can't wait to gather to celebrate freedom, community, and the enduring spirit of Northside. Your participation ensures this historic parade continues to thrive for generations to come.

Our production of this parade makes every effort to be inclusive and never wishes to deter anyone interested in entering the parade from participating due to fee amounts. The truth of the matter is that the parade incurs many expenses. The fees we incur to continue this parade’s legacy have become a significant barrier to our sustainability. This is not a money-making venture, and in most years, we’re lucky to break even. Northside Community Council Board members are not paid; they are volunteers. Without paid entries, we could not deliver this beloved parade.

If you know Northside, you know that we believe in access to the basics like affordable housing, healthcare, education, and participation in the Northside Fourth of July Parade!

That’s why we want you to know: If the $50 general fee is a financial barrier/burden to your non-profit or community group, we can relate and we’re here to talk about it.
